Since gaining his MSc in Golf Course Architecture in 2002 Niall has spent the last 9 years travelling the globe in pursuit of his goal to design top quality golf courses. Niall has been the lead architect for projects in Europe, Africa, The Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Paul Kimber |
Immersed in the game from an early age and moving from greenkeeping through to designing, Paul has been constantly involved with the game on a personal and professional level for over 25 years. A Masters degree in Landscape Architecture gained in Edinburgh backed up the practical knowledge he had gained from working on the course, and his career in design started in 1998 with European Golf Design. In 2000 he joined David Kidd and DMK Golf Design where he stayed for 10 years. Paul launched his own company ‘Kimber Golf’, on the success of his work at DMK Golf Design leading the work on ‘The Castle Course’ in St Andrews, Machrihanish Dunes in Kintyre and g West in Perthshire.
