Qualified in 1998 with the British Institute of Golf Course Architects. Since then, working as a Golf Course Architect with many clubs in Scotland to make improvements to their courses with the addition of new holes, tees, greens, bunkers and water features. 8 years as lecturer in Golf Course Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art. Born in Edinburgh and currently based there.

Andrew Soulsby
Andrew has been practicing as a qualified Golf Course Architect since 2007, when he received the prestigious Toro Student Architect of the Year Award. Since then, he has been involved in projects in Scotland, France and the United States of America.

Richard Le Sueur

Richard le Sueur
Richard is a professionally qualified Golf Course Architect with a unique combination of qualifications and experience in the industry, holding a Turf Grass Management degree from Michigan State University and a Masters in Golf Course Architecture from Heriot-Watt University. He has worked in the golf development business for over 15 years having been involved with a wide range of design, construction and establishment projects in the USA, UK, Ireland and the Middle East, both at hands-on and management levels.

Sam Thomas

Sam Thomas
Sam graduated as a Landscape Architect in 2006 before gaining his masters degree in Golf Course Architecture at Edinburgh University, with distinction. Sam continues to have an active worldwide involvement in the profession of Landscape Architecture both practically and academically, through private practise and teaching at the Landscape Architecture School, Edinburgh College of Art.

Todd Jerome

Todd Jerome
Todd earned an MSc in Golf Course Architecture in 2006 and has since been involved on the ground as Project Manager and on-site Architect for new construction and remodels throughout Scotland and England. Todd’s qualification and expertise in golf course design; experience and practical knowledge of all areas of golf construction; and background in golf course marketing combine to bring unique value to golf clubs and developers.

Malcolm Clapperton Qualified in 2001 with an MSc in Golf Course Architecture from Heriot Watt University. Since then has worked with a wide range of clients on new build and renovation projects across Scotland.

Niall Glen

Niall Glen
Since gaining his MSc in Golf Course Architecture in 2002 Niall has spent the last 9 years travelling the globe in pursuit of his goal to design top quality golf courses. Niall has been the lead architect for projects in Europe, Africa, The Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Stints as a Senior Design Associate with Harradine Golf in Dubai and DMK Golf Design in London provided Niall with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical experience to return to his native Scotland in 2009 and join forces with former colleague Paul Kimber at Kimber Golf.

John Kemp John ‘cut his teeth’ with internships on two of Scotland's highest-profile new courses; The Castle Course & Castle Stuart Golf Links. Since then he has worked internationally in golf design & construction; from traditional British links to USPGA Tour venues. A graduate member of the EIGCA, John is based on the Orkney Islands off the north coast of Scotland.

Paul Kimber

Paul Kimber
Immersed in the game from an early age and moving from greenkeeping through to designing, Paul has been constantly involved with the game on a personal and professional level for over 25 years. A Masters degree in Landscape Architecture gained in Edinburgh backed up the practical knowledge he had gained from working on the course, and his career in design started in 1998 with European Golf Design. In 2000 he joined David Kidd and DMK Golf Design where he stayed for 10 years.

Paul launched his own company ‘Kimber Golf’, on the success of his work at DMK Golf Design leading the work on ‘The Castle Course’ in St Andrews, Machrihanish Dunes in Kintyre and g West in Perthshire. Now with projects ongoing in China and the UK Paul is spreading his passion for the game to wherever he travels.
